Now this I might be interested in as an add-on for my Compact in larger places.

50 lbs. But that won't stop a bunch of guys buying them (or Mackie, or RCF, or Peavey etc.), when they'd turn their noses up at an arranger that weighs LESS (Not to mention, you'll probably get TWO of them )

Why are we willing to lug around speakers that weigh twice as much as our arrangers, but it is the arranger that is 90% responsible for how good (or not!) we sound..?

Gotta' love those wheels and the telescopining handle......of course, they also have to sound good. That feature is also available in the 15" version ($50 and 11lbs. heavier). My old 18" CV's had wheels but just recessed handles; don't see that much anymore. Very handy.

...Probably because of the dimensions. Not only are keyboards heavy, they are long and wide, making carrying them awkward. I have a 65 lb keyboard amp I can lift much more easily than my G70.

It depends on what position you are lifting from, and to...

For instance, I usually try to place my G70 in its' flight case on some chairs, so that I don't have to bend to the ground to lift it to the stand (and usually lever it down onto the chairs from a vertical position). Same for packing it away. I rarely EVER find myself dead lifting the whole thing for any reason.

Yet many of us have to get 50 lbs.+ speakers up on a speaker stand...

Weight is weight. How you manage it is the trick...
